Welcome
Please welcome Counseling Intern, Elizabeth "Ellie" Peck. She is a committed Christian who is specializing in adults, adolescents, families, and couples. She also has a special passion in working with post-abortive individuals, vocational discernment, psychological abuse, and shame-based thinking issues.

Approach
People are body, mind, and spirit and any effective counseling must be done in consideration of the whole, authentic self. My clinical approach focuses on identifying mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges and collaborating with clients to develop a plan to achieve personal healing, growth, and empowerment. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit that is able to find meaning throughout all the difficulties life throws at us.

I utilize a variety of techniques in order to accurately connect with my client's emotional language and cognitive processing. Empathy, unconditional positive regard, humor, and evidence-based practices provide the groundwork from which I help clients clarify meaning, combat self-defeating attitudes, and develop realistic goals for approaching the challenges of life.

Education
I am currently a graduate candidate and intern with the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Cumberlands. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Washington State University in 2006.

Fees
My current fee for services is $50 per session for individuals; and $60 per session for couples and families. I offer a limited number of reduced-rate options for couples and family counseling for those who are facing financial hardship.
